- I am drawn to the wild, open places that seem to heal my soul. I'm searching for something, expecting nothing, but finding everything. Journeys are stories unfolding, which beg to be shared. Lessons are learned along the way, sometimes those more subtle, fleeting thoughts that might qualify as insight, both best captured for future reference. My lofty goal is to have my images capture in time special moments in my travels and explorations, and ideally these images will adequately communciate the awe and wonder I feel as I witness fleeting events, many of which occur once in a lifetime. If we're really lucky, somewhere along the way I might develop some writing skill and find a voice, so that I might further compensate for any shortcomings in my photographic skill and the inherent limtations of a static, two-dimensional visual recording medium. Thank you for taking the time to visit. This Photoblog is under development in late September, 2007. Please pardon the construction and bear with me as I fill in the gaps to complete the picture of my travels and thoughts.
